One of favorable differences of air show MAKS from the other largest international aviation exhibitions is traditionally fascinating program of demonstration flights. On this parameter MAKS surpasses even such leaders of space exhibition business as Le Bourget and Farnborough. The flights of super maneuverable MiG-29OVT became the sensation in 2005, one more airplane-soldier – Su-30MKI –also showed its best qualities. Yak-130, MiG-АТ and the airplane under Antonov trademark An-140 and novelty An-148 have been submitted in the sky of Moscow. The deserved applause was caused by the flights of foreign visitors – Italian G-222 and American strategic bomber B-1B.
But the main «highlight» of MAKS is the performance of pilot groups. This year Frecce Tricolori and Patrouille de France again joined the traditional flights of local Russian Knights, Swifts and Russ.
